Many of you who are planning a wedding for the first time may have several questions you want to ask! Here is a list of the most asked questions we have received in the past, If you can't find what you are looking for, send us an email we would be happy to help ease your mind!
Q’S AND USEFULL INFORMATION.
Who will be photographing our wedding?
Claire Boshell will always be the principal photographer at your wedding and Jose Manzanilla is the second photographer on the day to get also those moments that can be missed.
When will I receive my photo's ?
Usually the photos will be edited and sent to you via link so you can check the pictures out before the CD/USB is sent out which can be 6-8 weeks.
What time to do you turn up and how long do you stay?
We would usually arrive generally around 2 hours before ceremony time to wherever the bride is getting ready or groom and go till the end of the first dance. Sometimes the first dance can begin to start at 9.30 if it is longer we will stay for one dance after the first dance and say goodbye so you can enjoy the rest of your night.
Do I get high quality images and can I print them?
Yes of course to both questions. You can print them anywhere with no copyright attached to the image's and jpeg is high res so quality is fab no need to worry in that respect. We will also provide you with an online album which you can view the photo's and also download them. You can share this with family and friends.
Can you send me the RAW images after the wedding ?
Unfortunately the RAW images is only between the photographer and photoshop. No RAW files will be given as there can be no benefit to seeing these unused, unnecessary bits of material.
Are the photos retouched?
Yes the images are edited in our style which you will see on our website. Any further retouching will be extra but there never really is any need as they are photoshopped to a beauty editorial standard and also lightly retouched with lighting ,contrast etc.
Do you charge extra for travel fees ?
Yes we do charge extra for travel fees, Each of our weddings that we attend are all very different , some of them are located in Cork, Wexford, Mayo and even Dublin. Let us know the places we have to travel on the day and we will calculate a price for you. This can range from €80-€150. We also travel internationally , please contact us for a quote.
I’ve heard nightmare stories of photographers, will you be super bossy on the day?
No no and NO! We're very friendly people we find that making it really relaxed is the best way to be. It’s your day remember, We are there to capture it. Any photo that you would like us to take , certain family members etc let me know prior.
How long have you been doing this?
Claire has been doing wedding photography since 2010. Jose also has been assisting Claire with multiple weddings under his belt so attention to detail is key for us. We have shot weddings all over Ireland & abroad in all different types of weather, venues and for all different types of people.
Do you provide wedding albums or story books (photo books), what's the difference?
We provide both story books & heavy duty wedding albums.
At the bridal prep I don't feel comfortable with a guy photographing me.
Don't worry Jose will go to the groom's place of prep and take photo's there. We are super relaxed photographers so you can let us know if you have any concerns.
What kind of camera system do you use?
We only use only professional quality Canon & Nikon cameras , lenses, flashes etc.
Do you carry back-up equipment?
Yes. we always carry back-up equipment, and we use multiple memory cards rather than a single large card.
How many photographs will you take?
For a typical wedding, you can expect up to 200-600 photos possibly more. We do not limit how much you get however depending on the package that states this.
